As a result, the application automatically uploaded activity data, including location information, which revealed the approximate position of the vessel west of Cyprus.
  2. This incident posed a serious threat to operational security. The disclosure of the carrier’s location could have been exploited by hostile actors, potentially endangering the ship, its crew, and the ongoing mission.
