Introduction
The aim of this report is to inform about soldier radio problems identified during a recent inspection in our unit.
Details of Inspection
On 1 April 2026 at 09:00, a routine inspection was carried out in the storage facility. The inspection focused on portable radios used for battlefield communication. The inspection was conducted in accordance with standard unit procedures and covered all communication equipment held in storage at that time.
Equipment Problems
Several portable soldier radios essential for battlefield communication were found to be missing. This shortage may affect operational readiness and communication effectiveness during missions. The missing equipment was last recorded during the previous inventory check.
Action Taken
An immediate inventory check was conducted to confirm the shortage. The missing equipment was reported to the chain of command for further investigation. The situation was also documented in the unit logbook.
Recommendation
It is recommended to conduct regular equipment checks. Existing logbook procedures should be strictly followed to ensure all issued and returned radios are properly accounted for.
